Introduction to Cape Maeda

ダイビングポイントとしてみた宮城海岸はトイレやグルメ事情にすぐ入れた好立地な場所です。

ビーチエントリーなので午前だけや午後からとわがままにダイビングができるのにエントリーも楽にできるなんて嬉しすぎます。ポイントもたくさんあり、珍しいビーチドリフトも楽しめます。

As a diving spot, Miyagi Coast is conveniently located with easy access to toilets and gourmet food.

It's beach entry, so you can dive in the morning or afternoon as you please, and it's great that the entry is easy too. There are plenty of diving spots, and you can even enjoy the rare beach drift.

宮城海岸の紹介です。

■駐車場

海岸沿いが町営の無料駐車場になっています。常時たくさんの人が使うため道をふさいだりしないように配慮が必要です。

【利用時間】

5：00～22：00

■トイレ・シャワー・更衣室

トイレは公衆トイレを利用します。綺麗に利用しましょう。

シャワーはありません。水を持参してください。

更衣室もありません。車の中で着替えるか、公衆トイレを利用して着替えるのが一般的です。

There is a free municipal parking lot along the coast. Since it is always busy, please be careful not to block the road.

■Restrooms, Showers, and Changing Rooms

Use public restrooms. Please keep them clean.

There are no showers. Please bring water with you.

There are no changing rooms. It is common to change in your car or in a public restroom.

Diving Points

砂辺No.1　【ファン・体験・スノーケル】

真栄田岬を代表するポイント青の洞窟。国内外問わず一生に一度は行ってみたい場所として人気が高い場所ですが、夏場は混雑します。

Blue Cave [Fun Experience Snorkel]

The Blue Cave is a signature spot at Cape Maeda. It's a popular destination for both domestic and international visitors, and is a must-see destination. However, it can get crowded during the summer.

お花畑　No.1　【ファン・体験・スノーケル】

ソフトコーラルが群生していてお花畑のように色とりどりに輝いているポイントです。-5ｍ程度なので初心者にもやさしい場所。

Flower Field [Fun, Experience, Snorkeling]

This spot is filled with soft corals, shining with a variety of colors like a flower field. At just 5m deep, it's a great spot for beginners.

北谷洞窟　【ファン】

No1とNo5の間にある神秘的なクレバスと洞窟。少し狭いのですが大地の裂け目を感じられるパワースポットです。20ダイブ以上推奨

Chatan Cave [Fun]

A mysterious crevasse and cave located between No. 1 and No. 5. While a little narrow, it's a powerful spot where you can feel the earth's cracks. 20 or more dives recommended.

カリフォルニアサイドNo.2　【ファン・体験】

最大水深18ｍ程度なのでＯＷでも大満足に楽しめるポイントです。ダイナミックな地形が楽しいポイントです。

California Side [Fun & Experience]

With a maximum depth of approximately 18m, this spot is perfect for those on an OW. The dynamic topography makes it a fun spot.

北谷ＵＦＯ　No.3　【ファン】

最大水深15ｍ程度の浄水場のタービンを冷却するための排水システムが独特な形をしていて暖かい場所なので大きな魚が群れています。

Chatan UFO [Fan]

The drainage system used to cool the turbines of the water purification plant has a maximum depth of about 15m and is a uniquely shaped, warm area where large fish gather.

北谷神殿　No.4　【ファン】

最大水深12ｍ程度の浄水場のタービンを冷却するための給水システムが神殿の様な形をしていて稚魚たちの隠れ家となっているのでマクロが多い。

Chatan Temple No. 3 [Fan]

The water supply system used to cool the turbines at a water purification plant, which has a maximum depth of approximately 12 meters, is shaped like a temple and serves as a hiding place for young fish, resulting in a high concentration of macro fish.

北谷遺跡　No.5　【ファン】

最大水深30ｍですが落とさなければOWでも可能。ロゼッタストーンや歴史的発見が今も続くポイントです。ダイブ経験は20ダイブ以上を推奨。

Chatan Ruins [Fun]

The maximum depth is 30m, but it's possible to dive underwater as long as you don't drop anything. This is a site where historical discoveries, such as the Rosetta Stone, continue to be made. A minimum of 20 dives is recommended.
